The Cinematheque at the University of Wisconsin-Madison has just added a free sneak preview screening of the new Focus Features release, Sense and Sensibility. The screening will take place Sunday, October 11, at 2 p.m.
From director Georgia Oakley, whose Blue Jean screened at the 2023 Wisconsin Film Festival, comes an irresistible new take on Jane Austen’s canonical novel Sense and Sensibility: a charming, witty, and deeply relatable story of love and sisterhood. Sense and Sensibility stars Daisy Edgar-Jones, Esmé Creed-Miles, and George MacKay.
Sense and Sensibility will be released to theaters October 16. This pre-release screening will take place Sunday, October 11, 2 p.m., at the Cinematheque’s regular venue:
